      摘要

During the 2-year fellowship program in the Human Genetics and Genomics biomarker group, you will be trained in and have access to state-of-the-art biomarker technologies and learn the basic principles of Biomarker Context of Use and fit for purpose Biomarker validation. You will have the chance to develop and implement innovative biomarker solutions to address key scientific and clinical questions, such as target engagement, proof of mechanism, biology, safety, and efficacy understanding.
You will collaborate with global cross-functional biomarker matrix teams to execute fit-for-purpose biomarker plans, implement internal and external biomarker activities, deliver high quality data and enable impact in early and late clinical development phases.

      Duration of program: 24 months
      Program start: September 2025
Applications are open until 03 March 2025 included.

      About the Role

      • Evaluate the latest single cell isolation & preservation, scRNA-seq library preparations protocols and sequencing technologies (10x genomics, BD Rhapsody, Scale / Parse Bioscience etc) for its application in clinical research.
      • Collaborate and cross train with a variety of biomarker modalities (e.g. mass and flow cytometry) and other state of the art technologies (e.g. spatial transcriptomics and spatial proteomics) to integrate results and overcome limitations.
      • Close collaboration and training with bioinformatics teams towards analysis of multidimensional single cell datasets, data integration and interpretation.
      • Drive the validation and implementation of innovative single cell omics workflows for clinical research in internal labs as well as with external vendors.
      • Discuss experimental setups, analysis plan and interpret data to enable proof of mechanism, dose selection & proof of biology across early clinical programs and present results at internal meetings.
      • Ensuring quality and timely delivery of data generated through outsourced activities.
      • Contributing to support protocols and writing quality reports and laboratory manuals.

TM Academy is designed for individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences:

      • Career starters: recent university degree graduate within the past 2 years
      • Career changers: professionals with experience from a different field
      • Career relaunches: professionals wanting to return to work after a career break

During the TM Academy you will

      • be trained and onboarded by experts
      • embark on a progressive, blended and flexible learning experience covering conceptual, theoretical and experiential techniques
      • gain hands-on experience by contributing to and supporting a range of clinical operations work tasks
      • broaden your professional horizon by doing deep dives in different areas aligned with your interests and based on open opportunities, such as Clinical Trial Team Leads, Finance, Feasibility, Data Sciences and others

      Role requirements

      • Recent graduate (advanced degree e.g., PhD, PharmD, MSc.) in laboratory/clinical or related fields ideally with some experience with scRNA-seq technologies (e.g., CITE-seq/scBCR/TCR/ multiplexing strategies) and scRNA-seq data analysis (e.g. Seurat, Scanpy)
      • Good programming knowledge (e.g. R, phyton, batch) and familiarity with scRNA-seq software (e.g. CellRanger) and HPC environments.
      • Prior exposure to clinical trials would be an advantage
      • Passion, curiosity to explore novel technologies, develop innovative biomarker solutions, investigate the science of the disease and compound, and interpret the conclusion related to biomarker data?
      • Keep up to date with scientific research and new technologies to contribute to innovation in the field
      • Curiosity and openness to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with cross functional global team
